I can use  high pass filters low Pass filters  cutting up to  60 decibel per octave ; all of this within the same frequency  band in Audio Mastering.   If an Audio Mastering Engineer does not have at least a ( a several band EQ)  RUN!  This is the basic and so needed tool of an Audio   Mastering Engineer. Manley Massive Passive Stereo Equalizer has four bands and  a  frequency editing  range for  audio mastering from   22Hz to 27kHz..Most E.Q frequency manipulating units  ranges  are  from 20 Hz to 20kHz and they are limited as to what they can do per band. This is why I chose Manley. It is difficult to use but if you can master it your client will be pleased.
